We always camp where there is running water to hook up to. Last week, though, because it is getting colder in the northeast, camping means finding a spot that will deliver water to you, as the grounds are generally winterized at this point and there is no running water.
Anyway, we filled up the tank at the campground, got it into its spot, and fired up the pump and at first, it stopped running once the water heater was full.
However, as the day went on (and hardly any water was used), the pump refused to shut off even though no water was running anywhere. Is this normal? It got to the point where I was just turning the pump on when we needed water.
Thanks.

Hmmm... Normal, no definitely not.
I wonder if your pump is loose and not pumping water or it has an air pocket in it.
It should only run on demand... Not sure what else would cause it.
Let us know what you find out.
