For pancakes, we use the kind that you just mix in the bottle and pour. But we pour it into our pie irons and cook them over the fire. Morning fire, breakfast, and coffee. A great way to start the day.

That sounds good, we use the shake n pour pancake mix too, so much less mess..but I have never tried them with the mountain pie irons, will try that next trip.

I'll will have to try them in the mountain pie makers as well. I usually do get the shake and pour myself but also have the box mix at home it just all depends on what is the best value when I am at the store so I think I will give this possible a try at the house.
