My husband won the Lebanon County cookoff one year with this recipe as best side dish. It is a very interesting and unusual recipe full of flavor...always a hit at BBQ's and picnics.

1 large onion chopped
1 large green pepper chopped
2 TBS water
1/2 pound of bacon ( personally i use more but i love bacon)
2 Cans (15 ounces each) of red kidney, northern white and black beans, all drained.
3 TBS Worchestershire sauce
1/2 Cup honey
1 Cup hickory flavored BBQ sauce (I use KC masterpiece hickory flavored)
1 tsp dry mustard
3 TBS cider vinegar

Preheat oven to 350. Fry bacon and crumble. Lightly coat bottom of a 2 Quart ovenproof pan with nonstick cooking spray. Saute onion and green pepper for 5 minutes using water to keep from sticking. Add crumbled bacon adn blend in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and bake in oven for 30 minutes.
