2 o the stripe decals are cracking on our Rv. Does anyone know a place to buy replacements?
We are thinking about removing and the painting the stripes on. Does anyone have any tips on this, such as what kind of paint and can spray paint be color matched and bought, or does that need to be done in a paint shop?

I think you would be able to do it yourself if you are good at painting. Hubby actually repainted some area's on our rv that he did some body work on this spring with spray cans. I would have to say that he did a good job with it.

Weikels in Mt. Penn I think could make new decals,Painting them on would be a long term solution but I would only recommend doing it with an automotive paint.

Rich, is the automotive paint readily available to the public? I know my neighbor is into that stuff. Wonder if he has the tools and knowledge to hook me up. Gonna wait till it's a little cooler. Maybe next week.

You can buy automotive paint in many colors and shades at PEP BOYS...you could probably visit a good auto collision shop and ask them their opinion on this, I am sure they would be able to give you real good advice and hopefully not want to badger you into letting them do it.
