This past Sunday, I decided to get the detector out at the campgrounds. Found some pennies, a firecracker missile, and a child's ring. Next day, as I was skimming through the campground rules....No Metal Detecting. OOPS on my part. But I know how to "dig" without leaving a mark.

It's well known no where near Gettysburg allows it. Although someone recently did it at night and left a mess.
