You will...

They bite like hell ! rofl

We have found them on our dogs already this year...

Last year we went turkey hunting down in Raystown and were covered in them !

I hate them ! I feel all creepy crawly when I find one !

yes a easy way to get them off or out of you is use a cotton ball soaked in fingernail polish remover and hold it over the tickand it wouldnt be able to breath and back out.

You turn into Crashers Twin ! shock

No, Not all ticks carry lymes disease...

They can just become burried under the skin and cause an infection...

They are nasty little creatures !

Is that true? I have never heard of that before.

Here is a link to pictures of ticks for those who are not sure what they look like

The safest way to remove a tick is with tweezers. Pull it gently firmly and steadily to get the entire tick out. It's important to remove all of it and to dab the bite with alcohol afterward and wash your hands well. We always burn them after we remove them so that they don't live to bite again. you don't want to squeeze it or kill it before removing it or it increases the risk of illness or infection.

The ticks in the Gettysburg area have been very bad this year. Just remember to use the tick preventive from your vet or pet store and a tick collar is not a bad idea either.
