Everyone knows that the best way to build a campfire is a little kindling and a lot of flammable liquids!

For those who do it the safer way, what style do you find best?

The Teepee Method:

OR

The "Fort" Method:

I typically use the "fort" method depending on the kind of wood I have available.

I do a combination of both. Small Tee Pee in the middle of cabin with 2 walls tapering to a point. My wife makes fire starters using muffin papers, wood chips, and old candle wax...they work awesome.

I was using that fatwood for fire starters, but the cupcakes my wife makes are alot cheaper. I will get a recipe together, and post it.

It's a teepee for me!

Just don't let the amateurs add wood to the fire without professional supervision, they will knock it over every time!
