My husband and I run a LARP (Live Action Role Playing group) and we are looking to explore other options for site rentals.

Our website is Moore Diversions Moore Diversions - The Aura Unveiled We are basically a murder mystery event that runs the full weekend, with everyone dressed in costuming.

We have previously rented at Blue Mountain Campground - Hamburg, PA, Robin Hill Robin Hill Campground - Lenhartsville, PA, Mensch Mill Campground Mensch Mill - Alburtis, PA, Paradise Farms - West Chester, PA, and also at Faire Play Faire Play - Montrose, PA

We have been running our own events for over 12 years, and ran events for another group prior.

We are searching for site options within 2 hours of Montgomery county PA. We need to be able to sleep at least 50 people, preferably offering a combination of lodge / cabin style acommodations as well as tents (being able to park 1 30 foot trailer is a huge plus, but not a requirement). We are looking for a site that we can camp at year round, but will consider all options. We are not interested in Girl Scout /Boy Scout owned camps at this time.

Our group does not allow drinking, drugs, etc.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

We want to be able to prepare our own food.

We are not looking for resort living (you know the ones that come with really high prices).

Thanks!

Hey there Diane:

Very interesting group, was looking at your website earlier...

My friend is really into stuff like that also...

He actually writes modules for D&D and his brother illustrates them...

Very neat stuff...

I will give some thought to group camping areas... Hmmm...

Maybe someone else will have some ideas as well...

Tom

Late reply, but Twin Grove has a lodge to rent as well as pavilions.

Do you mean Twin Grove, located in Pine Grove? or is there another?

Yep, that's the Twin Grove I was referring to. No sleeping areas in the lodge, but right out the back door they have 4 nice RV sites, cabins and tent sites. Worked great for our wedding and reception for overnight guests.
Twin Grove
