My family and I went on a road trip today to check out some campgrounds, one of our stops was Stoney Brook Campground.

Stoney Brook is located at 1435 Germans Road, Lehighton, PA 18235, Phone 570-386-4088 web: www.stoneybrookestates.com

First off I have to say the staff was Extremely welcoming and seemed like great people to work with! Probably the nicest people we talked to all day.

And What a View!!!!

The campground is new (I believe this is their third season)
Campground has 88 sites, all but 12 of which are seasonal sites. The seasonals seemed to be well taken care of. All of the non-seasonal sites are back in, full hook up. Be sure to bring your longer connection hoses as all the hook ups will be at the rear of the unit, not on the side. Sites are large and well laid out, roads are gravel, and wide.

2012 - 2013 Camping Rates:
Daily Weekend $45
Weekday $40
Weekly $290 (7 Nights 8 Days)

Check in time is 3pm, Check out is 1pm BUT FREE early check in if site is not occupied!!!

Some of the non - seasonal sites:

Clubhouse, pool area:

Deck over the pool area:

Playground area (next to pool, view from deck)

Heads up - the driveway into the campground is somewhat steep . . . I've seen worse though

The majority of the weekend/ non seasonal sites were empty this weekend. This campground is on our list to plan to stay at in the future.

Personally I LOVED the deck over looking the pool. My daughters and I love to swim, the husband not so much - this is a great place for him to relax with a book while we swim.

And I can't say enough about the staff, they were great.

Wow Diane...thanks for all the work, review and photos! One thing I like to know about a campground (hope I did not miss this somehow, if I did, sorry!) was the "child penalty fee" aka "extra person charge"...could you include how many people the rates include and the XP charge? Looking forward to your posts!!

Thanks!

I totally appreciate the question, and one of my pet peeves is the campgrounds that add on multiple fees!

Stoneybrook's rates include up to 4 people in their base rates, additional person is $7 per night, maximum 8 people per site.

BTW, they also offer a Gas Saver Option when you reserve two weekends in a row. $190 total for the two weekend and storage for the week in between. We used this option at another campground and LOVED it!
