Hi Shelle.. We don't camp there because we live there, but the state park campground is the only one close. it does not have water or sewer hookups but does have electric, the bath house isn't bad, and the lake is great for fishing and boating. Lots to do there in the summer.

Shelle,

There are several campgrounds near black moshannon if you dont want to camp there in the state park, though I would highly recommend it as its a nice campground with lots of activities. I found this link which might help you..but again, If I were you, I would camp right in Black Moshannon state park, we camped there alot when the kids were little...they have a beach, boat rentals, hiking trails , nature walks and even have park rangers giving talks sometimes. Anyway, if you dont want to camp there, here is a link that might be helpful...

Thanks, Karla! I signed up my 6 and 4 year olds for the PA Wild Child event- I guess it would make sense to just stay there! :)

Barb I apologize- I didn't see your post until now for some reason. Thank you for the link!! I signed my 2 older children up for an event at Black Moshannon so I guess it would be easier to stay there. We are just fans of full hookups ;)
